LimeLight

Illuminate your mind and spirit with performance

LimeLight offers the best of both worlds.

LimeLight Theater is a movie theater Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  LimeLight Studios is a premiere performing arts center for youth and the young at heart.  Classes in performance will be offered after school and evenings Monday through Thursday for both youth and adults.  School-aged children who wish to put their training into action can participate in the children's theater company which will perform four mainstage shows a season.

UPDATE:

LimeLight Theater and The Gallery Theatre will be joining forces this summer for the Youth Theatre 4-Week Summer Workshop (Camp).  Please see more details below.

A Sneak Peek

Here's a sneak peek of what's to come

LightLight's goal is to open in the fall of 2025.  Its mission is to provide area youth with a safe place to imagine and create performance experiences through quality professional theater.  It also has a mission to provide the community with an outlet to relax and enjoy movies on the big screen.

Classes Offered

Musical Theatre

Actors will be lead through the basics of movement and dance which will help them in any musical theatrical production or audition.  Students will also study basic and advanced vocal techniques that fit their individual vocal styles.

Beginning/Advanced Acting

Students will learn the nuts and bolts of acting.  They will gain self-confidence and self-awareness.  Students will take part in various acting projects from monologues to scene work.

Acting for the Camera

Students will learn how to handle scripts for the camera.  They will learn camera angles and best practices for auditioning for on-camera work.  Students will practice scenes as well as commercial scripts.  They will also receive casting information for professional projects filming near our area.

When LimeLight can bring confidence to a young person or serve as respite in the busy day of an adult, that energy will flow through the community and make it a better place for everyone.
